We are in the kindness week, and don’t you agree that it is very grateful when we allow ourself to be kind with everyone in all circumstances ?
The world becomes smiling, we feel light and happy, we are touched during the whole day by a multitude of little sparks of positive energy coming from everywhere…
last day, my wife Françoise had the idea to send a postcard « without a reason » to some friends living abroad.
It was a couple of friends living in The Netherlands, and with who we spent 4 years from 2003 to 2007 learning integrative energy therapy in Switzerland…we had created strong bonds with them but we had not been in contact since a few years.
As Françoise couldn’t find their postal address, I went back in my archived class notes in which I knew I would find it back, which I did.
But while looking in my notes, I also found a beautiful text from Babaji that I had completely forgotten.
Babaji is an so called « avatar » in India, one of these wise beings who continuously enlights the whole humanity with his wisdom and love.
I just wanted to share this text with you, and it is probably a deliberate intention of Babaji himself to have inspired me to find this text during Kindness week.
Here it is, enjoy…
« Love and serve all humanity.
Assist everyone.
Be cheerful. Be courteous.
See God and good in every face.
There is no saint without a past.
There is no sinner without a future.
Praise every soul.
If you cannot praise someone,
let them pass out of your life.
Be original. Be inventive.
Dare, dare, and dare more.
Do not imitate.
Stand on your own ground.
Do not lean on the borrowed staff of others.
Think your own thoughts.
Be yourself.
All perfection and all virtues of God are hidden within you.
Reveal them.
The Savior also is already within you.
Reveal him.
Let his grace emancipate you.
Let your life be that of a rose :
Though silent, it speaks in the language
of fragrance… »
So true, nice text!
Man I love that poem! I also like your sentiment of feeling light and happy. Yes coming from kindness is like that.
